When Opportunity Knocks, Don't Vomit on Its Shoes When You Open the Door
Posting from: Tucson, AZ
I am a little freaked out. There is a possibility that, on my summer vacation this year, I will have the chance to have a drum lesson with someone of note. I'm not going to post who it is here unless it actually happens, and then I may even go so far as to post a picture of myself and said drum instructor.
Of course, I have to do it if I can arrange it at all. There's no question!
It's just that every time I think about it, I want to throw up. I feel like I somehow have to justify why I should take up an hour of this person's time when I'm a beginner and really don't have any particular intention of this being anything beyond a hobby at this point.
